Cute & funny photos
It's taken a while for us to snap more photos of Ryan, thus the lack of updates here for a while. Here are some of his recent happy photos. Mummy is so proud of her little boy who's turning 1 in a few weeks!

Ryan turns 11 months!
Yet another happy month has zoomed past us as Ryan fills our days with more and more laughter, joy and love. He's beginning to learn a lot physically and mentally. He's taken a couple of wobbly steps and he's been learning the names of objects like fan, button, clock, cat, etc...he's even trying to imitate sentences we say! Of course it turns out all gibberish and funny.
As Ryan turns 11 months old, he had his first 'mugshots' taken by a photographer other than his mother! Below are some shots to share. I have to admit these aren't the best of shots, all taken in under 5 minutes plus he wasn't exactly dressed for it as we just decided to let him have a go at it while strolling in a mall. But I do like a few of them, especially his cheeky shots!

Another post on Ryan with his bottles
An earlier post revealed Ryan's strange love for bottles...this one is a continuation, with more photos.
On our road trip back from Muar, Ryan was kept occupied and happy with a mineral water bottle. He was in a world of his own!

Even when he's deep in slumber in his sarong, he prefers to hug a Rubbermaid bottle than his bolster.

Ryan went to the zoo
We wanted to bring Ryan to the Zoo Negara two weekends ago. Though I've heard and seen how sad the condition of the zoo is, there's no other zoo in the city to go to. But on that day, the weather was unkind to us as it rained the entire day!
So last weekend we took a trip to Malacca and brought Ryan to Melaka Zoo instead. We didn't spend much time there as Ryan got tired and not too interested after a while. It was then that I realised he's a bit too young to be able to appreciate the zoo. Especially when you need to spot some animals in their hiding places.
Here are some pictures of the trip.

My little 10-month old
Another month just passed us by. Little Ryan has been such a joy all the 10 months he's been in our lives. He loves to smile and laugh and is easily tickled pink. Everyday he finds new amusement in our facial expressions. It's been fun and experimental for us too to see what he finds so funny everyday!
Ryan has grown into such a little handsome bundle of joy...how can he not be mummy's boy? =)

Giant pretty girl
Can you spot Ryan?

Giant ABCs
Since Ryan can crawl (at the speed of lightning too, if I may add), and is attempting to stand by holding onto things, we've been setting up a softer ground for him to get mobile instead of confining him only to his playpen or our bed. So we set up giant jigsaw puzzle mats for him to play on.
But once the mats have been put in place, he was more contented playing with the letter "X" than to go explore on all fours.

Ryan's favourite things
You would think a child's favourite thing would be in the form of a toy, book, pillow or even a security blanket. Ryan's favourite thing is none of the above. For him, it's a bottle. Yes, a bottle! It's not any specific bottle, it's any bottle. He's not choosy in that sense, just give him any bottle and he'll be quite happy and occupied.
It started with his milk bottle. Whenever he saw one in sight, he would reach for it and toy around with it happily. Then, there were plastic toy bottles, like those you would find in a set of "masak-masak" toys. When we put a bunch of toys and shapes along with that bottle for him to pick out something, he always picks the bottle. It's quite amazing. He would even enjoy an empty mineral water bottle for that matter.

Since he enjoys bottles so much, we brought him to a Bottle Paradise one day. Look how he enjoyed it! It's a Disneyland equivalent for him :D

Hush now my baby...
Last night after his midnight feed, Ryan quickly landed himself back in la-la-land, deep in slumber. How deep, you ask...well deep enough to sleep comfortably in this position.
Wait, that's not all...
Not quite a macho sight with the top of the diaper showing, huh?

What Ryan does when we go shopping
Ryan loves going out and watching the crowd. Lately he's learned to appreciate beauty. By beauty, I mean pretty girls! Sometimes he would stare so hard at them that I do get a little embarrass and quickly push him away. He starts young, doesn't he?
Anyway, over the weekend Ryan had a field time watching some beauties at some malls. He doesn't just sit there and enjoy the ride in his pram anymore. Look what he's up to.
"Wouldn't I look nice in this Spiderman shirt?"
Drinking his milk while looking about
He gets easily attracted to colours
...and legs??!
He's still a baby who enjoys sucking a thumb or two
When hunger strikes, dinner is served on the go...
